A high quality art print on handmade Nepalese Lokta paper in a rich salmon pink with visible red fibre inclusions giving the authentic paper a rich and unique character.
The colour pink represents caring, compassion and love. The pink colour stands for unconditional love and understanding, and is associated with giving and receiving care. Since pink is a combination of red and white, both colours add a little to its characteristics.
This paper is made from the bark fibre of lokta, a plant which grows above 3000 metres in the Himalayan foothills. This is a renewable resource and the fibre collection and paper manufacture create valuable employment in the hill areas. As this paper is hand made, each sheet is unique with visible fibres and texture adding a wonderful rustic character.
Presented in a natural wood colour frame measuring 33.5cm across, the image is 20cm and printed in rich red tones that are perfectly complemented by the colour and textures of the Nepalese paper.
